Internal Auditor (m/f/d)* Region Asia Pacific

Your tasks

Reporting Line:

• Reports to the Head of Region Asia Pacific, Reports to the Head of Corporate Governance KAG as matrix manager. 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct annual audit inspections for the region Asia Pacific based on the GIAS (Global Internal Audit Standards) framework 
• Coordinate the individual audit subjects with the responsible managers 
• Communicate findings to responsible management and foster a culture of know-how transfer in the region 
• Verify compliance with organizational and supervisory (O&S) duties 
• Support the region’s risk management and assess the internal control system (ICS)  
• Inspect functional units by applying SWOT analysis, recommend counter measures for assessed risks and monitor the implementation of such 
• Conduct regular audit inspections, management audits, follow-up audits, process and project examinations and more, in alignment with the regional management 
• Coordinate audit activities with the auditing company and external Auditors
• Support ad-hoc audit request from the responsible management

Your profile

• Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Engineering, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of valuable experience in working in a multinational business environment, preferably in manufacturing/engineering or financial audit  
• Ability to communicate and present governance topics to employees in a motivational manner
• Analytical, strategic and independent work approach
• Understanding about legal requirements, trends and developments in the region Asia Pacific and on governance/compliance topics and willingness to continuously learn
• Experience in working in, and growing a network in a global matrix organization
• Highly professional demeanor and absolute trustworthy personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language
