Krones has agreed an acknowledged pay scale with the Bavarian IG Metall trade union. In addition to a purely job-related salary, Krones also pays a large number of voluntary corporate fringe benefits – such as extra payments in the event of employee illness or an ability to have a share in the company’s success.

Reconciling one’s professional and private life is currently one of the fundamental challenges faced by every employee. Flexible working hours apply in many departments and at all Krones locations. This means that employees are free to decide themselves when they start and finish working – and the well-deserved leisure time can be ideally arranged to go hand-in-hand with the job.

Some jobs also allow mobile working. The necessary conditions are provided by a modern IT environment and digital communication options which allow many jobs to be performed virtually.

Even if retirement is very far away for many people: Krones is already ensuring today that its employees will be well taken care of in their retirement years. As part of its corporate pension scheme, Krones invests money each month in the pension pot for each individual employee. This contribution can then also be topped up voluntarily by each wage earner.
